Hi, I'm Marie — founder, curator, and the heart behind KMone't Gently Used.

This business was born from a life I know well. As a single mom raising three kids, I learned early how to walk into a thrift store with a goal and walk out with exactly what I came for. But my relationship with secondhand clothing goes back much further than that.

Growing up, my mother was a victim of domestic violence. For a period of time, we lived in a shelter — and it was there that I was first introduced to the world of secondhand clothing. What could have been a painful memory became something else entirely. It became resourcefulness. It became style on a budget. It became the foundation of everything KMone't stands for today.

KMone't is named after my oldest daughter. The moment I said the name out loud, I knew it was fashionable, it was bold, and it was hers. Just like this shop is ours.

I started KMone't Gently Used because I believe everyone deserves access to pieces that make them feel good — regardless of budget. Luxury shouldn't be a privilege. Style shouldn't have a price tag that keeps people out. I hand-pick every item in this shop with care, with an eye for quality, and with you in mind.

And because of where we come from, giving back is part of who we are. With every purchase made at KMone't Gently Used, $0.50 is donated to the National Domestic Violence Hotline — a 24/7 lifeline for survivors across the country.
